Job Description
· Provides senior leadership and oversight for audio and video production operations supporting NSF OLPA.
· Serves as the on-site production manager, coordinating schedules, resources, and quality across multiple productions.
· Advises OLPA on effective media use and production approaches aligned with strategic communication objectives.
· Leads pre-production planning and coordination with scientists, engineers, OLPA staff, and partners.
· Oversees studio and field operations, including equipment setup, maintenance, file management, and archiving.
· Assigns tasks, monitors progress, and ensures timely, high-quality delivery of productions.
· Maintains liaison with internal teams and external production partners throughout all phases of production.
· Ensures all products meet NSF branding, accessibility, and federal compliance requirements.
· Manages production systems and performs operator-level maintenance as required.
Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Film, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field; or
· Equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Experience / Qualifications
· Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in audio/video production.
· At least 5 years in a senior or lead production role managing teams and complex projects.
· Demonstrated experience managing studios, equipment, schedules, and production workflows.
· Advanced proficiency with professional video and audio production tools.
· Experience supporting federal agencies or large, mission-driven organizations preferred.
