Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000 per year, Paid via W2 (on the books)

A private family in McLean, VA is seeking a professional, experienced, and highly reliable Private Chauffeur to provide safe, timely, and discreet transportation for the family. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, strong knowledge of the local area, and the ability to anticipate the family’s needs while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Main Work Duties:

• Provide safe and timely transportation for the family by driving to various destinations as required.
• Transport family members to appointments, meetings, school, errands, airports, events, and other scheduled activities.
• Plan routes in advance and monitor traffic, weather, and road conditions to ensure timely arrivals.
• Maintain a calm, professional, and discreet presence at all times.
• Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, stocked, and in excellent working condition.
• Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, detailing, and repairs as needed.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage, packages, groceries, and personal belongings.
• Run errands efficiently, including pickups, deliveries, dry cleaning, shopping, and other household-related tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding the family’s schedule, residence, conversations, and personal matters.
• Communicate professionally with the family, household staff, vendors, and other service providers.
• Remain flexible and composed when handling last-minute changes, delays, or unexpected circumstances.

Required Qualities & Qualifications:

• Prior experience driving private families, executives, or high-profile individuals is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of chauffeur experience with a private family.
• Previous law enforcement experience is not required but is a plus.
• Security training, first aid training, and/or tactical or defensive driving training is a plus.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safe driving practices, and professional driving etiquette.
• In-depth knowledge of McLean, Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, airports, and surrounding areas.
• Highly punctual, reliable, and organized.
• Strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional, discreet, accommodating, and confident in appearance and demeanor.
• Immaculately groomed with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to remain calm and composed during traffic delays, schedule changes, or unexpected situations.
• Able to anticipate the family’s needs and respond professionally to questions or concerns.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
• Must be able to lift over 25 pounds.
• Trustworthy, respectful, and committed to maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
• Must speak and communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
