Summary

The Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in partnership with Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Texas Children's Hospital located in the Great Houston area. This is a 100% clinical position that will serve the South Houston area along with either the Texas Medical Center or The West Campus.

Job Duties

  • Outpatient and inpatient care, consultation and emergency room consultation for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.
  • General pediatric gastrointestinal procedures, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic procedures.
  • The supervision and education of medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Eligible for or active American Board of Pediatrics certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
  • Eligibility for licensure by the Texas Medical Board.
  • U.S. Citizenship or an approved work visa.
  • Open at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics.
