Domestic Operations Agent

Location:Torrance, CA 
Schedule:Monday – Friday 10:00am – 6:30pm 

Job Summary

The Domestic Operations Agent is responsible for coordinating and managing U.S. shipments across air and ocean freight operations. This role requires a strong understanding of domestic routing, TSA regulations, and logistics documentation, along with the ability to perform fast and accurate data entry to ensure efficient and compliant shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic shipments via air and ocean freight from pickup through final delivery
• Apply domestic routing principles to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of freight
• Prepare, process, and maintain shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Air Waybills (AWBs)
• Ensure compliance with TSA regulations and domestic cargo security requirements
• Communicate regularly with carriers, drivers, warehouse teams, and internal departments to manage shipment flow
• Update shipment details accurately in transportation management systems
• Proactively identify and resolve shipment issues or delays

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation
• Knowledge of air and ocean freight operations
• Familiarity with TSA regulations and cargo security requirements
• Strong data entry, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS)
• Understanding of U.S. domestic routing and freight documentation
• Prior experience in logistics coordination or operations roles
