Job Summary :

VIP Systems Inc., a leading provider of Electrical and Low Voltage solutions with over 20 years of experience, is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team in South Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining low voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, smart home solutions, intercom systems, and IT network integration.

Responsibilities :

• Install, terminate, and test low voltage wiring and cabling systems.
  
• Set up and configure devices such as cameras, access control systems, intercoms, and smart home equipment.
  
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  
• Perform maintenance and upgrades on existing low voltage systems.
  
• Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  
• Follow project specifications and adhere to safety standards and local codes.
  
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and system configurations.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a related role.
  
• Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting CCTV, access control, and intercom systems.
  
• Knowledge of smart home technologies and IT network integration.
  
• Familiarity with tools and testing equipment used in low voltage installations.
  
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as BICSI, NICET, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  
• Experience with systems integration
