About the Role Our firm is seeking an experienced Security Engineer with deep LogicGate expertise to support one of our major enterprise clients in the retail and digital operations industry. This organization manages large-scale security operations, incident response workflows, and complex case management processes across a diverse technical ecosystem.
This role will lead a strategic initiative to transition their Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) team from a legacy in-house platform to LogicGate, ensuring scalable workflows, secure integrations, and long-term operational excellence.
Job Description As the LogicGate Security Engineer, you will own the full implementation and onboarding of the EIM team into LogicGate—spanning requirements gathering, workflow and process design, configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, training, change management, and go-live support.
You will also collaborate closely with the client’s Incident Response and Security Operations teams to build and maintain integrations between LogicGate and Google SecOps, ensuring reliable movement of incident, case, and workflow data across systems.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring expertise in LogicGate, Python scripting, integration patterns, and enterprise incident/case management processes.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the end-to-end implementation of LogicGate for the EIM team, from initial discovery to production rollout.
- Conduct a full assessment of the legacy in-house case management system, documenting workflows, processes, roles, data structures, and reporting needs.
- Design future-state LogicGate workflows covering incident intake, triage, escalation, investigations, remediation, approvals, and closure.
- Configure LogicGate applications, forms, RBAC, permissions, notifications, dashboards, and reports.
- Develop and execute a structured data migration strategy: mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
- Define and implement integration patterns between LogicGate and Google SecOps for shared incident and case workflows.
- Determine authoritative data sources and sync patterns across platforms.
- Build or coordinate API-based integrations, connectors, middleware, automation, and supporting scripts.
- Implement automation for repetitive/low-severity workflows (e.g., Sev 4 incidents).
- Ensure strong security, auditability, compliance, and governance across the solution.
- Create and deliver architecture diagrams, workflow documentation, runbooks, admin guides, and operational procedures.
- Lead unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Support change management, training activities, and end-user adoption.
- Provide hypercare and transition knowledge to internal teams ahead of handoff.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: - 5+ years implementing enterprise workflow, GRC, incident management, or case management platforms
- Proven hands-on experience implementing LogicGate (lead consultant, architect, or admin role)
- Experience migrating from custom/legacy systems into enterprise SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of incident management lifecycle and case workflow design
- Experience designing and implementing integrations using APIs, webhooks, ETL, or middleware
- Demonstrated experience integrating case/incident systems with SOC or IR tooling
- Proficiency with data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
- Ability to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical workflows
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Experience supporting testing, training, and enterprise rollouts
Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience integrating with Google SecOps
- Background in incident response, security operations, risk, governance, or compliance
- Familiarity with IAM/RBAC, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and enterprise access controls
- Experience working in large enterprise or highly regulated environments
