Comrise is looking for a skilled and passionate Instructional Designer to join our Operations Training team in Foster City, CA . This is a high-impact role where you will translate complex business needs into engaging, effective learning solutions for teams operating and servicing products at scale.
Job DetailsPay Rate: $67.78/Hourly
Location: Foster City, CA (On-site)
Travel: Up to 15% as needed across business locations
Curriculum Design: Develop blended learning experiences, including instructor-led (ILT), virtual (vILT), and eLearning solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and technical stakeholders to co-create dynamic curricula using AGILE methodologies.
Digital Content Development: Create interactive and immersive online learning experiences using modern authoring tools while ensuring SCORM compliance.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate training effectiveness and update existing materials to improve engagement and drive measurable outcomes.
Brand Alignment: Ensure all content adheres to company brand standards, style guides, and instructional consistency.
Experience: 6 8 years of instructional design experience with a focus on blended learning (OLT, ILT, and vILT).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related technical field.
Technical Tools: Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline), Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Portfolio Requirement: A portfolio of instructional design work samples is required. Examples should demonstrate your approach to content design and learner experience.
Soft Skills: Strong conceptual design skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
Industry Experience: Autonomous Vehicle or Operations training experience is preferred but not required.
A deep understanding of adult learning principles.
A sharp eye for content quality and the ability to create scalable, high-impact learning.
Experience creating learning evaluation plans to measure impact on learner behavior.
