This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's Corporate Office locations in Beverly Hills, California. Discovery Land Company is seeking a full-time, year-round Global PR Manager to join the Marketing Department. Job Summary: The Global PR Manager at Discovery Land Company leads the development and execution of strategic PR campaigns along with the Head of Communications and CMO to elevate the company's brand domestically and showcase its projects globally. This role involves managing PR Agencies, cultivating media relationships, crafting persuasive press materials, and organizing impactful events and visits to enhance brand awareness and brand positioning. Additionally, the position entails crisis management to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead global PR initiatives supporting Discovery Land Company across the US, Europe, and Mexico, aimed at enhancing brand presence and promoting projects.
  • Directly report to the Head of Communications, collaborating closely to ensure alignment with overall communication strategies and goals.
  • Working Closely with local agencies managing local issues throughout lifecycle of project.
  • Engage in frequent travel to various locations as necessary to facilitate media relations, coordinate events, and oversee PR activities.
  • Leverage previous experience in luxury, real estate, or global communications roles to drive innovative and effective PR campaigns.
  • Craft compelling press materials, including press releases, pitches, and presentations, to effectively communicate key messages and project narratives.
  • Coordinate high-impact events and press tours to generate visibility and excitement surrounding Discovery Land Company's developments.
  • Provide strategic counsel on PR matters, including crisis communication management and reputation enhancement strategies.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Public Relations.
  • Experience in luxury, real estate, or global communications roles preferred.
  • Strong understanding of global media landscapes and cultural nuances across different regions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to varying work environments and time zones.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to develop and execute innovative PR strategies that drive business objectives.
  • Familiarity with British English, Portuguese, Arabic, Spanish, or Italian a plus.
