Our client, a leading provider of integrated legal services and technology solutions, is seeking a CLM Consultant to support its growing Contract Analytics & Lifecycle Management practice. This client-facing role, offered remotely across the U.S. or U.K., focuses on implementing and optimizing DocuSign CLM solutions, partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements, design workflows, and deliver scalable contract management systems. The position offers the opportunity to work with advanced AI-driven tools that streamline legal document processing, while contributing to workshops, system configuration, testing, and user training. POSITION OVERVIEW
Our strategic digital process leverages our subject-matter expertise and integrates “best of breed” artificial intelligence (AI) tools to accelerate the processing and management of legal documents. Our solutions automate complex document processing tasks by converting, centralising, and normalising legal documents before reading, interpreting, extracting, and summarising their content to drive cognitive processing, thereby striving to make organisations more efficient.
This is a client-facing role, and you will need to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders both within our client and their clients. As the CLM Consultant will be representing Contract Analytics & Lifecycle Management Practice, the role requires excellent communication and presentation skills. We are looking for a candidate who can leverage their experience to implement contract analytics and contract lifecycle management solutions based on past practice.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
In this capacity, the CLM Specialist:
- Partners with the Lead Consultant or Solution Architect and Project Manager to build clear requirements and support the development of a DocuSign CLM strategy for each engagement
- Participates in/leads portions of kickoff sessions, discovery workshops, and attends meetings with audiences of varying size and complexity, and captures business process information, project details, and technical requirements. Capture gaps and pain points of the customers
- Configures and implements solutions using DocuSign CLM. A deep understanding of the CLM software functionality is key, and the CLM Specialist should have hands-on CLM experience, preferably on DocuSign CLM /Spring CM
- Performs business process modeling, workflow diagrams, template deconstruction, and merge field mapping
- Creates test cases and conducts unit and smoke testing of end-to-end solutions
- Manages issues during UAT periods and remediates issues as needed
- Develops training materials that reflect the solutions including admin and train the trainer materials
- Provides excellent customer service communicating a positive, professional attitude
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the leadership in the CALM department
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Experienced in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel (particularly formatting and use of formulas)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with CLM implementation, preferably on DocuSign CLM / SpringCM
- Have developed workflows and process models using tools like Draw.io, Lucid Chart, Visio is preferable
- Experience working within the Salesforce platform on an Administrative or Development level
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) with 2-5 years relevant experience
- CLM experience is mandatory, preferably in an administrator role (with configuration and integration experience). CLM Implementation Consultant Accredited preferred. (DocuSign Capstone Certified.)
- Strong presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a teamwork approach to assignments
- Able to multitask and manage multiple projects
- Experience in contributing to workshops to gather client requirements
- Self-starter, who is independent, a creative thinker, and yet common sense oriented, with the ability to exercise good judgment and operate in an unstructured environment
- Organizational and time management skills, and strong attention to detail are required
Expected salary for this exempt role in the U.S. is $95,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
