Assistant Exterior Cleaning Technician

Location: DuPage County / West Chicagoland Suburbs

Job Type: Full-Time / Seasonal

Pay: $20–$21/hour to start, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically daytime hours, with some optional weekends, evenings, and off-hours shifts depending on projects

Rolling Suds of Naperville–Elmhurst is hiring an Assistant Exterior Cleaning Technician to join our growing field team.


This is a great role for someone who is dependable, hard-working, and wants to learn a skilled trade in the home services and commercial cleaning industry. No prior experience is required — we will train the right person.


You’ll work alongside experienced team members on residential and commercial cleaning projects throughout DuPage County and nearby areas.



What You’ll Do


You’ll support the Lead Technician in completing exterior cleaning jobs safely, efficiently, and professionally.



Responsibilities

• Assist with power washing, pressure washing, and soft washing projects
• Help clean exterior windows, siding, driveways, patios, sidewalks, storefronts, and commercial surfaces
• Set up and put away hoses, ladders, pumps, tools, and other jobsite equipment
• Prepare and maintain equipment before, during, and after jobs
• Follow company cleaning procedures and safety protocols
• Support jobsite efficiency and help complete work to company quality standards
• Maintain clean and organized trucks, tools, and work areas
• Communicate respectfully with customers and teammates
• Wear required PPE and work safely at all times
• Assist with additional field tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights safely
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat, sun, wind, and changing weather
• Able to perform physical labor for most of the workday
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Previous experience in pressure washing, cleaning, landscaping, moving, painting, warehouse, or general labor is a plus — but not required
