Activities Director
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Activities Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing a wide range of recreational and leisure activities tailored to meet the interests and needs of our participants. The Activities Director will work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partners to deliver engaging and meaningful programs that enhance the overall experience of our residents.
- Develop, implement, and supervise a diverse schedule of activities, events, and programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Collaborate with team members to design activities that cater to various interests and abilities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all residents.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through participant feedback and adjust activities to enhance quality and engagement.
- Coordinate with vendors, entertainers, and volunteers to facilitate successful events and activities.
- Manage resources and budget to ensure activities are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health standards in all program activities.
- Foster an encouraging and positive environment that motivates participants to engage actively.
- Stay current with trends and best practices in recreational and leisure activities.
- Previous experience in activity coordination, event planning, or similar roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse groups.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using technology and software relevant to program planning and management.
- Full-time position with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to engage in physical activities related to program execution.
