About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable / Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process while supporting general accounting and month-end close activities.

• Process and code vendor invoices (2-way & 3-way matching)
• Prepare and execute vendor payments (ACH, wire, check)
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Review employee expense reports for policy compliance
• Serve as point of contact for vendor payment inquiries

• Post journal entries and assist with accruals
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Support accounts receivable and invoicing as needed
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Prepare account reconciliations and audit support schedules

• Associates or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of accounting or AP experience
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
• Solid understanding of debits/credits and GAAP fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
